start-8If you’ve had to buy a new computer lately then you already discovered that you can no longer get it with Windows 7. You can, however, choose from either Windows 8 or Windows 8. Grrrrr.

The bad news is the learning curve since the interface is quite different. The familiar and efficient Start Button is gone. That’s why most businesses have been putting off computer upgrades and waiting for something better.

Until Windows 10 comes out we’re stuck with Windows 8. The good news is that as an operating system it’s quite good. The even better news is that within a few minutes you can tame Windows 8 by adding back the Start Button! Oh yes, and it’s free.
