Most organizations don’t survey their customers and business partners because it’s a time consuming and costly hassle. However, few would argue that you can learn a lot from those people who use your products and services.
A few years ago I subscribed to an online service called Survey Monkey. They were one of the top services for creating online surveys, questionnaires and forms. It wasn’t inexpensive, but it did the job. The free version was too limiting for practical business use, so it was necessary to purchase the fee-based tiers.
Thanks to Google, there is now a similar, but better online service that is completely free, with no strings attached. You can create, send, manage and analyze all kinds of surveys, questionnaires and even quizzes within minutes. To demonstrate, I created a Right Clique survey with only two questions – not because I want you to take it, but to show you what you get and to spark your ideas about how to use this powerful tool to improve your own business. The whole thing, including the graphics, took me 5 minutes. Granted, there is a small learning curve like with anything new. The first one I did took about 20 minutes.
